Those dried bamboo stems are supposed to be bridges for the caretakers and farmers but they don't use it because they prefer to jump from one field to another.

R.T.R., Agusan del Norte is the capital rice granary of the whole Caraga region of the Philippines. The small municipality is abundant in water and graced by a well-balanced weather which is a huge factor why the land is suitable for planting rice.

This is how the local level or plain their fields through the traditional way, usually with a domesticated water buffalo - kalabaw or the carabao - handled by a caretaker/farmer, before the actual planting.
