Christmas Season and the New Year's are always a busy season for me. Helping out in the shop during Christmas and helping out with the decorations and table settings for the New Year's Eve Celebration. This time round i was busy making banners for both the New Year's Eve Party, as well as the founding of the Chinese Club of Port Vila - Youth Club.
I was the MC along with xiao hui for both events and everything went pretty smooth. New Year's was awesome! I got to catch up with everyone, just chill, dance, take photos, and just enjoying ourselves! We even all wished Bruno a very Happy Birthday :p Everything was going so well besides the argument that arose near the end of the party that silenced the whole place, and sending us all home.
As for the Youth Club, it was more relaxing for me as an MC, not as formal as the NYE Function. After all the speeches and translations, and dinner, we played a guessing game where we had 3 boxes and people had to guess what was inside. It was pretty funny. First box we had a sea cucumber, second box aloe vera and the third box, hair. The person with the most accurate guesses in the shortest amount of time went home with a bottle of Champagne, while everyone else were left to eat wasabi or drink the juice of lemons. Lucky for Steven the only one who got to sing solo :p For the rest of the evening, we had Wii competitions in tennis, bowling, and boxing. It was a great night for everyone.
And of course the photo attached.. that's from HoneyMoon Beach.. taken on New Year's Day. It was so much fun and the little boy in blue in the front, that's Paxton, and he's absolutely adorable!!! :)
