Seek Experiences - For A Cup Of Tea

INDIA | Wednesday, 6 November 2013 | Views [1233] | Comments [1] | Scholarship Entry

We hear about this competition while staying in the tea fields of Munnar. We started learning how to pick tea but got swept up in a journey inspired by the warm hearted generosity of the people working in the fields. They invited us openly into their lives allowing us to spend Devali with them. For people with nothing, their generosity was truly inspiring.
Both torsha and I have graduated film school, Torsha from SRFI in Kolkutta and I graduated from AFTRS in Sydney. After graduating my thirst for adventure landed me a job filming and editing travel itineraries on a cruise ship. While working I have been studying my masters in journalism.
Torsha and I have always dreamed to travel and film, our greatest passion in life. It is what brought us together. Sadly I am currently unemployed, but I am currently traveling which soothes any sorrow. We are both trying to break into the travel documentary field. This will give us the break we need and the guidance to increase our chance at success.
This has always been our dream, winning this competition will help make what we are striving for a possibility of becoming a reality.
