I was inspired by the subject during my recent trip to South Africa. I always thought that race was a black and white affair, however spending two weeks in South Africa showed me it is much more than that. It really opened up my eyes to the world as the worlds most prestigious events was played in one of the poorest countries of the world.
I hadn't planned to make a movie but decided to try convey my piece as upon returning home with short videos and pictures I had obtained whilst there. This presented my main challenge to make the movie I wanted with the limited footage available. My ambition as a documentary maker is to create better and more interesting videos and with this being my first one I think there is much more room for improvement.
