My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I would love to win the travel scholarship to be out in the outdoors and artistically make superb images.
I am a storyteller and whether it is through writing, film or photos I always feel a great sense of accomplishment and achievement when others appreciate my work.
I love writing fiction and I have a children’s book about a little girl who loves buses. Additionally I am a filmmaker and made two shorts one about a rogue chief and another about a naïve girl who looses her first ever paycheque.
Making environmental documentaries is also something I enjoy and in the last three years I have made different stories around the lake Naivasha basin in Kenya.
Learning from others has been my lifeline for the better part of my life. I am always looking for new opportunities to explore my skills as a creative and artistic person.
As a photographer my background in film makes my images stand out and I hope to add photography in my resume.
Being in the field with a seasoned photographer I believe will be an experience which will open up my thinking and expand my world view.
