As the youngest of 4, I grew up seeing the world a little differently. I was always trying to keep up with my siblings, instilling in me a fierce competitive streak which has served me well in my athletics. But I quickly learned that I could not out-talk my elder siblings, who regularly compete for ‘air-time’ at family dinners- instead I learned to listen and observe. Photography enables me to capture those moments that touch my heart in some way.
I am currently finishing my Kin. degree at the University of Toronto in Canada. Though I enjoy all sports, I pursued basketball at the varsity level, captained the team in my final year, and have now returned as an assistant coach. My involvement in sports has taught me about perseverance, teamwork and adaptability. I am always ready to try new things and learn from those more experienced.
Travelling enthralls me. I love experiencing new cultures, but have a passion for landscapes. Psalm 19:1 says ‘The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands’- as a Christian, seeing the natural wonders of the world excite, thrill and awe me like nothing else. I am definitely an amateur, but have a passion to learn!
