My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a broke, wanderlust 23 year old. Ever since I studied abroad in Australia while in college, I've been stricken with the travel-bug. Going halfway around the world not only opened my eyes to the mass amounts of culture that I have never experienced, but also the large quantities of places I've yet to see. A lot of my friends are happy settling in one place; to dwell, to work, to live, to repeat day in and day out. I don't know if it's my age or my calling, but sitting still is not an option. I'm always on the look-out for travel opportunities, and in lieu of such events, I always have my camera. Photography developed out of my passion for travel, and with time, I've found they come hand in hand. To win this scholarship would not only put me on the right path for a career in travel photography, but also to show my friends, family and the world, why it is I long to see everything this planet has to offer; to soak in the mass amount of places I've yet to see and to live life how I view it as being its fullest: on foot and setting off to another place.
