The small streets reminded of the legacy of man and the love of curiosity to greet the billions of unpreceded explorers of the times.The City of Amritsar shows the simplicity of its natives and different cultural aspects leaves a remarkable footprint on the heart of travelers.Dusty streets greets you the first.The clumsy rickshaws plying like planes in their small streets, make them the masters of their feat and fate. Then what leaves you stumbound is the first sight of the gold lustering at the eyes and touching the chambers of heart.The Golden Temple a place of silence and holy place for sikh religion.Amrit (the holy water) surrounds the Golden Temple.The langar (food) being served for free ,touch the heart when the eyes see thousands of people feeding themselves at a particular time.The roti, kheer and dal being served is said to be the best in favor.The untouched and the most important thing lies in its food.The glass of lassi with matka kulfi leaves an empty stomach greeding for more and more.The Amritsari Kulcha being served with butter makes a food lover an eating monster who can't resist himself from offering more and more to his stomach.The presence of Jallianwala Bagh shows the historic importance this place holds during the India's war of independence.The marks of bullets are being saved as if they have happened just few months back.The location of city near the Indo-Pak border adds a pearl to the necklace.The place is called Wagah Border where the patriotic fever.The flag lowering ceremony is attended by thousands of people from both sides every evening and the shouting of slogans and playing of patriotic songs shows the devour of both the sides which bring them to the verge of cruelty.
