My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Indonesia | Sunday, December 30, 2012 | 5 photos
It used to be hard for me with a bare hand to approach new people and make them tell their story. Things changed after I hold my very first camera two years ago. A camera on hand significantly increases my self confidence, and apparently people tend to be more open to a stranger with a camera on her hand approaching them. I chose Cisarua local traditional market in Bogor, Indonesia as a place I have visited.
People keep asking why I be bother to bring such a heavy equipment everywhere, besides these days it’s so much more easier to get good images with your smart phones or just by staying in front of the computer for few minutes. Self satisfaction it is, the thing that keeps me crazy over photography. Standing, walking, running, talking to new people, moving here and there just to get images I want.
The first time I read about the scholarship, I got very excited. It would be an honor to learn right from the professional. I’m currently studying Accounting, and I suppose to be graduated on 2013 and start my professional career. To get this scholarship must be a bright spot about where I should start my professional career. My name is Jesica, and this is my essay. Thank you.
