Welcome Health Spa Break In Thailand

THAILAND | Thursday, 3 December 2009 | Views [906]

I had been traveling around all of Far East Asia for a little while now with my husband and needed a short break from him and from all the walking we had been doing.

So I decided it was time to have some me time, my huband agreed and said that he was feeling the same way. He was lovely and set up a lovely spa day for me at a local resort. It was in an area of Bangkok that I was not too sure about, but I had heard some good reviews and I wasn't going to turn my husbands gift away now was I.

I arrived at the resort and was greated by a lovely lady who took me in to sit down. It was phenomenal, now I don’t know what Bangkok health spas are supposed to look like, but this just looked like pure luxury. Gigantic was the only way to describe the size of these rooms. When i got into my treatment room i was stunned, it looked like a 7 star penthouse suite. I had a relexaing facial and was then guided to a lovely decking area and was sat next to a small lagoon-like-pool surrounded by the most lush grass you have ever seen. It really made me feel at peace.

I later had a couple of body treatments and massages, my favourite of which I have to say was the fusion stone massage. I was placed on my front and some heated round stones were placed on my back. These stones covered me in warmth and made my back feel like jelly. After the spa day was over I felt like a new person and had my batteries recharges. I booked my husband in at the same resort the very next day as I couldn't keep this place all to myself. When back home I'll be asking my local health spa to recreate the same treatements I had in Bangkok for sure
