Eid Al Adha

Fortunate enough to be welcomed into a small village near Sengiggi, on the island of Lombok, Indonesia, I was able to witness the community coming together for the important festival of Eid Al Adha. Some wore traditional head scarves whilst others wore board shorts. Here younger children keep their distance from the sacrificing action, whilst others got involved, rituals being passed from generation to generation.
