John and I (with the help of many friends) have designed and built our yacht "Sharkface". She was launched in November 2004 and was raced around the buoys on Lake Macquarie and up and down the east coast of Australia. She was successful, winning local offshore pointscores, and a Sydney to Southport race. We were successful in that we learnt about our yacht from the inside out, and we both developed our love for the ocean.
Sharkface retired from racing in 2008 and we have slowly converted her to a fast cruising yacht. We have cruised for two seasons - to the Whitsundays in 2010, and to New Caledonia and Vanuatu in 2011. We are currently in Vanuatu planning our next adventure across the Equator.
Our lives revolve around sailing, surfing, snorkelling and seeking out anchorages that can create trhe magic that we all dream about.
