My dream is to express my emotions through what I capture on a photo!
Before I started working as a business consultant two years ago, I set out to travel. This opened my eyes in a way they had not been opened before. My curiosity for other places in the world has grown ever since. I not only want to visit these places, but to learn and understand them and their people. To encounter new cultures, meet amazing people, hike through vast landscapes and amaze myself every time by the world's diversity.
However, I felt I could not share these experiences with others. That is where my passion for photography started. By capturing a scene in a way that is both pure and involving, I want people to feel for themselves how it must have been like to stand there. My dream is to learn and understand photography in such a way I can express my own emotions through what I capture. This cannot be learned from books. Therefore, the travel photography scholarship would be the ideal way to expand my knowledge and learn from the best.
Over the past year, I picked up on some the basic techniques to help me to make the first steps towards my dream. The scholarship would be a great next .
