My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm Jasmin, I have lived in England my entire life and have rarely left the country due to lack of money. However, this has sparked a curiosity for everything the world has to offer and a fierce desire to travel.

I'm currently studying for an Art degree at Loughborough University, after which I intend to travel to expand and develop my portfolio but more importantly my life experiences. I love how much photography can hide but what intrigues me more is how much can be told through one photograph. Since a young age I've seen the beauty in everything, even the mundane, but now I am able to communicate its beauty through my photography.

I appreciate how physically demanding and mentally draining days of shooting can be, but I am ready for the hard work as I believe this experience will be life changing.
