AUSTRALIA | Saturday, 2 May 2009 | Views [517]

Hi all,

Unfortunately this will be the last log of our trip, and what a trip it has been, to coin a phrase 'GOLD', anyway just too give you a quick update on our last couple of days, we left Miles and moved on down to the south through country NSW where we planned to meet up with Jay in Narrabri for the night and a couple of beers ! well mate i must say the steak was great and the claret even better thanks mate !

We then headed home and arrived late afternoon on the Friday to get sorted for work next week.

Any way guy's all i can say is that looking back on it what a grest way to spend a holiday, we have most probably seen thing that we will never see again the bset sunrises, sunsets that i have ever seen, the darkest night sky's with the most clearest sparkling stars !! more shredded car tyres than i care to remember, more car parts than i care to shake a stick at, there are too many stories to tell here but look forward to chatting over a glass of claret and a steak with all of you.

The summary of it all is as follows,

Total KLMS 9548

Total fuel costs $1896.57

Campsite costs X 17 nights $418

Hotel costs X 8 nights $1040

Claret drunk 35 litres !!

Beer drunk, to much to mention !!!

Flies swallowed 9 ! Jac 7 me 2, ha ha ha not funny when it happens to you but so funny when it happens to your wife !!

Fights with tent 6, tent 3 me 3 we'll call this a draw as i had it sussed at the end.

Fights with the wife 0

Them really cold stony moments with wife 1, not classed as an argument as we did not officially speak to each other for a day !!

Punctures 0 !!!! lucky buggers.

Well guy's thats the update and will be speaking to you all soon, hope you all enjoyed looking at the trip as much as we did putting on this blog.

Well chow for now luvies, love you all loads
