These are photos that were captured during my visits to several interior pockets of Sri Lanka (where I am from). These images were snapped by me, during such a visit to Trincomalee, East of Sri Lanka. The pictures are of a farming family engaged in their daily grind of work and a couple of emotions showing in close up form.

I have always admired beautiful photography and marvelled at the talent of the photographer in being able to capture such beauty. I enjoy travelling in true local style, interacting with locals and budget travel and living in local homes savouring the real culture of the place. My interests include reading, languages, getting to know people of different cultures, music, wildlife, tribal life
