This past June I traveled to Ecuador landing in Quito and then flew on to visit the islands of the Galapagos. I really didn't know what to expect beforehand but I loved the entire experience: The setting of Quito, the people, the markets, the scenery, learning a different world perspective, and hearing their values about protecting their natural resources. I have exciting photos and information to share with my biology and my advanced placement environmental students. I am passionate about learning other views from around the world and education myself about environmental issues.
