My Scholarship entry - Exploring a countries "other side"

I am a semi-professional landscape photographer with a passion for the outdoors. I live on the doorstep of the Peak District where most of my work is based but like to travel further afield be it in the UK or abroad. I do hold down a full time job but feel privileged to have shot a commission in Cyprus for Monarch Airlines and also do regular work for Blacks Outdoors, unfortunately I have never found that break to make it full time. I am looking to advance myself and travel more and more with upcoming trips planned. I'm not afraid to get down and dirty and will more often than not carry my home on my back and camp up a mountain to get the shot. Recently I went to Greece travelling 1600 miles in two weeks to capture most of the countries hidden gems that the holiday tourists would never knew exist. This young enthusiasm and experience I already have makes me I believe an ideal candidate to earn this scholarship.
