This is the bourtzi at the end of the castle in Methoni. It had been used as many things including a prison at one point. The castle is never usually open within the golden hours, but a fortunate passing at sunrise saw the gates open allowing me to capture this image,

For years I had wanted to visit what looked like the magical place of Meteora in Northern Greece. In recent months it has become more popular due to being featured in the hit TV series

Polylimnio Waterfalls are in a deep cool gorge in Southern Greece. Its more like an Amazonian world in there with fresh waters channelling down.

I had been visiting the area for years but never knew about the area before and was taken back in amazement, especially as the surrounding areas are baron fields and olive trees.
