My Scholarship entry - The Power and Light of Summer

United Kingdom | Wednesday, November 12, 2014 | 5 photos

From a young age I believe I as an Individual, have been deeply rooted and tied to nature and the life and beauty it gives us. When I was Six I decided to grow from Acorn and seed, just over 300 Oak and Elm trees. Since watching them grow not only did I enjoy the pleasure of tending to them, but I also learnt many lessons of patience, persistence and commitment to creating a better life for all life. Ive also been very lucky to have a cultured background which has involved me to travel to poverty stricken places, like Cuba, India and Thailand and the amount of culture, Vibrance and Life that I grasped from these places helped fuel my passion to see and explore the world that my feet hold tight too. One of the things that Im strongly passionate about is Photography. Ive had a disposable camera since I was 7 and was keen to photograph everything that came in my pass, I luckily received my first DSLR Camera a few years back; and since then Im unable to put it down. After studying the technical elements of camera skills and lighting, at A Level photography it opened many new doors to me. I believe this Scholarship was made for me and thats why I hopefully should be chosen.
