My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

A family friend forwarded this competition to me tonight, and although I know I should sit down and plan out an essay, carefully word every sentence and map out a plan of attack, I can't help but enter this very second.
Photography isn't a passion, or a way of life for me, it is my life, I spend every waking moment visualising how everything around me would look on camera, photography is my view of the world and it'd be my dream to show the world how I see it.
I hope when you read this you feel my passion and my love for the art.
I have taught myself how to take photos with guidance from some very tolerant professionals, I've been taking photos for about three years, ever since I received my first dslr. Even as a young child though, I used to steal dads cameras and play with them for hours and have always felt more comfortable behind the camera rather than in front of it.
I'm not up to speed on writing a paper that catches your attention in the first line, these things can be learnt quickly, I just hope that you can feel my intense, sometimes over the top love for photography and the story's it can tell, let me show you how beautiful and unbelievable the world is through my eyes.
