This is me !!
A bit different to the Maldives!Hi John, finally separated nose from grindstone to see how you're doing. Really enjoyed reading all your blogs so far...seriously, Ben literally chipped the wood chip off the bedroom walls at Xmas, and I helped (kinda...) with the papering, but yet to get round to a lick of paint, soooo....At the risk of sounding corny, seriously inspiring man! I can't wait to see the rest of the photo's and hear about you're experiences in the flesh. So, John Thomas of Good Intent, keep up the amazing effort. Mama sounds like a proper lady angel, but seriously, what's up with the contrast stripes? Should have packed an Elle Deco.Have been thinking a lot lately about the startling differences in conditions around the world and your blogs are another poignant reminder that its long overdue that humanity acts for re-distribution of wealth; the top 1% sail their super-yachts while families are forced to hand their kids to an orphanage, how long does it take for us to wake up? Ben & I are dead proud of you John.Ben's working in China right now, and I've been giving the last push to get my new site up and running, nearly there. The papers are still focusing on failing economy, and Bush made a public admission that maybe he's made some mistakes...just a couple, you know. Same old. I watched 'In The Shadow of the Moon' the other night, about the Apollo 11. One of the astronauts, after experiencing the earth view from the moon, describes the earth as 'a jewel hanging in space'; think we'll re-name you the 'The Jewel of Mombassa'; you look good from where we are John.We are with you in spirit,Ves & Ben xx
