My name is Jessica De Leeuw and I was born and live in Australia, being born in such a multi-cultural society I have been submerged in hundreds of cultures from around the world giving me an unquenchable thirst for adventure. My adventures have only just begun, starting out small I’ve only been to a few islands around Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu and Thailand. Struck back with the beauty and diversity of the world I intend to see more. For me photography has always been a great passion, through it I express not only how I feel, but what things around me feel. Capturing an image, that one moment in time frozen for eternity is a magical thing for me. Being able to show people how I see the beauty in the world through my eyes gives me great joy. The rest of the world is not as black and white as we think it is; rather it is rainbow of cultures sights and beliefs that make us who we are. My dream is to see the world, and experience it firsthand documenting my journeys through my passion of photography. I feel I have much to learn and this opportunity would help me get my foot in the door and live a life full of adventure and art through capturing life's most precious moments.
