Howdi! :)

My name is Jacqui Hocking - I am a documentary film director from Melbourne, Australia!

I have filmed in places such as Indonesia, Singapore, India, Nepal, Europe and Timor-Leste - all with non-profit organisations and NGO's to help promote their cause. I am 22 years old, and live and breathe documentary film-making.

My aim is to facilitate, support and collaborate with other inspiring documentary film-makers and NGO-non profit organisations globally to create important content. My goal is to live and work within Timor-Leste and build pride in Timorese culture through Film!

I started my "career" with the TOPtoTOP Global Climate Expedition - and began filming what will be a 14 year journey of one family trying to teach the world about climate change. The expedition will climb the worlds highest mountains in every continent using only natural energy (Sailing, Bike riding and Hikiing). Along the way they visit school children at every location, teaching about the impact of climate change, while performing clean ups of the local area; leaving a legacy of peace and positive solutions.

REALLY excited about this project with World Nomads - regardless of the outcome - I think it's an absolutely amazing platform and unmissable opportunity for young, aspiring documentary film-makers!

Thanks so much to everyone involved in this project! It's incredible!
