Passing the Islands; Zanzibar actually exists of two large island, Inguya and Pemba, together with hundreds of small islands. Sometimes the island is nothing more than a sand bank sticking it's head out during low tide.

Housting the sails; In the early nineteen hundreds an English officer sationed on the island stated that the days of the dhow are over, as steam engines started arriving. Today More than hundred years later, dhows still carry more cargo too and from the island than any other mode of transport, and the culture of sailing is still very alive.
