My pursuit of the American Dream is what brought me to the shores of the USA over 29 years ago. It has led me from Colorado to New Jersey, to Washington State and now northern California. I have done many things including nanny, travel agent and secretary, but nothing has touched my soul more than the beauty of wildlife. It is in California that I was introduced to wildlife conservation simply as a way to meet new people by volunteering my time for a local organization. I also took photography classes at a community college and a natural connection was made between the two. This ultimately has become a deep desire to turn my life into that of a conservation photographer.
It is something I think about constantly and I am learning that by using my images to draw attention to various issues, I can evoke a response in the viewer that will potentially encourage participation of some kind, whether that is also through volunteer work or donations.
By choosing me to accompany you on this adventure, I hope to walk away with additional insight and tools that will help me in my pursuit of my dream and ultimate goal. Thank you for considering me!
