Wolf Creek

AUSTRALIA | Friday, 23 September 2011 | Views [287]

Today we woke up about 6:00am and left our campsite about 8:00am. Still on the Tanami Track we left the track to see Wolfe Creek Meteor Crater. It is the second biggest crater in the world. When the meteor hit the ground it made a crater 850m in diameter. $

40 kms out of town our fuel gague read 0.Aiden and idn't realise but mum and dad were very woried. We stopped in town (Halls Creek) to get some fuel and refreshments. It was 38 degrees and felt like the Sahara Deseet, After another hour we stopped beside a river to camp for the night.
