jack and ken's grand adventure

Buenos Aires!!

ARGENTINA | Wednesday, 9 January 2008 | Views [736] | Comments [6]

We made it!! After an incredibly long and BORING flight we landed in Buenos Aires this morning. The heat is incredibly stiffling, ten minutes after a shower you are drenched in sweat and dirt again! yuck. We havent had much time to explore the city yet, but it seems to be beautiful and HUGE. Tomorrow well set out to see the sights, but for now, its time for a glass of argentinian wine and slab of barbequed steak. Life is good.

Heat! That sounds good. Chuck and I might go to Calif in Feb. Unless I have a puppy by then. I went to a CCI training class last night and so I think mom and I may try to train a dog for a disabled person. I requested a golden. Then today your dad downloaded a picture of a litter of yellow lab puppies and I almost caved.
I'll have on by the time you come home.
Hope you start havigng a wonderful time soon. Is your spanish rusty?
Love, Jenny

Hey Jackie! So glad to hear you made it safely! My thoughts and prayers are with you and Kendra. Not too much to report here, oh we did have a tornado touch down in several spots in the Vancouver area today. It was just before the kids went to lunch....now I know the safety procedures for tornados! Actually we were all safe and it wasn't a big deal, but several areas did experience damage. The Vancouver Rowing Club was hit hard. I'll have to let your parents know.

Safe travels!

Oye!
No olividas nada. abrazos Sal
