My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have travelled all over the world enriching myself with different customs and cultures. I have sometimes travelled alone which enabled me to make friends very easily, being a naturally sociable person. I became interested in photography, as I was keen to document my experiences. I found photography fun and exciting and it always gave me something to keep me occupied. It was only after a few years of traveling and taking photos of whatever caught my fascination that I decided to do some formal training. I have spent my adult life living between the UK and Australia so am used to an unconventional and transient lifestyle. I recently completed a 3-year full time digital media course in Australia and have only last month moved back to the UK. I have received extensive theory and practical training and now need hands on experience and mentorship/guidance from a professional. I feel I have gained as much as I can from an educational institution and that it is now time to start getting on with the real life experience. Traveling the world and making a living at the same time is my ambition for the future.
