The tittle of the photos are called La Liberté éclairant le monde.
10 years has passed after 9/11. Passed the freedom that everyone or every American Citizen thought they have achieve. The Statue of Liberty has been become the icon of freedom to United States of America. July 4, 1776. Memorial as it is, but something has gone missing. 9/11, yes it is, the pride of all American was all tested to the point where the Highest power has launched men and women with arms to the middle east, fighting for its pride of the freedom that once has achieved in 1776.
Through this photo, i'm trying to show that after 10 years of the incident that has happened, United States of America is still standing strong even though there are 2 Giants that has lost from its sight. Standing strong trying to achieve the Freedom that everyone wants.
Nomad, what's the connection to it? everyone is a nomad, they move from one place to another, trying to get the feel of home or trying to feel the warmth of its heart. but after time, no one has find where they call the place home, because home is where ever you are. where ever you feel loved and cared.

I'm Ivan hadiutomo, i like to travel around the world, after seeing the Travel Photography Scholarship 2011, i remembered my collection of photography that once i took in NYC.

why i should win?
i should win because it has been a long time where i dedicated myself to make a picture, where everyone could have a camera, but not everyone is a photographer and Good Photographer could come from anywhere.
though i'm a dentist, i want to take a better picture every time i took, i want people to see different perspective of what they are seeing. i want people to see the glass half full.
i want people to wake up from their nightmare through my picture.
