Hello,

My name is Iulian and I'm from Romania. I'm 32 years old computer programmer who for the last three years got a really big interest in photography. During my youth I watched a lot of films (from black and white movies to movies from countries that are just developing their movie industry) which got me really interested in image composition and capturing the perfect moment in a certain scene. Discovering photography allowed me to try to also capture some perfect images by myself and also made me realize that I also like to travel a lot. Self studying photography worked for while but soon I realized that I also needed to practice it and what better way to do it that by traveling. I started to travel in Europe and Asia looking for better and better places to practice photography.
This scholarship would help me take this passion (slowly turning into obsession) to another level, learning from some of the best in the industry, seeing what is it like to do this in a professional way and maybe making it a career changer in the future.
