Backpacking through South America

BOLIVIA | Wednesday, 15 April 2015 | Views [183] | Scholarship Entry

I made a trip two months with three friends in South America. Although I have chosen only Bolivia in the description, I could not speak of this journey without including Peru, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay as well. It was two months I met my friends better than ever, I learned to speak Spanish, I learned how Spanish is different in each country, I discovered how Mc Donalds is different in each country, I understood better how my moments of solitude and silence works. I learned what I want to do different in my next trip. I stayed in countless hostels: some beautiful and some with blood on the wall. I've been in the Atacama desert when it rained hail and it hadn't rained there for years. Turned out to be national news. I met many people I never know if I had not ventured and ended up being a giant leap out of my comfort zone.
