My name is Vaios. I am a photographer from Greece . I still remember the first time I took a D70 and pressed the button. From that magic moment I decided what I wanted to do in my life. Today life finds me working at a photographic store in my hometown. Six years before I though this will be a good job to start chasing my dream.
As I didn't go to college to study photography I had to read a lot and to shoot more! Still life, sports, portraits, wedding, baptism, social events. But my big passion is Travel photography and Nature. This could come from the fact that as a boy-scout I learned to love and respect our planet and all its inhabitants.
I can't say I am talented but I am sure hard working. I work six days a week in the store and in Sundays I am shooting . In my vacations I try to travel and shoot even more. I want to learn more and I think the best way to do that is to work with a pro! I think I am a good listener and assistant and I can communicate with other people and work with them in a team. If I encounter a problem or a challenge be sure I'll do my best to overcome it. I have a lot organizational skills and I like to be prepared!
This is 4 photos I took on my trip to Istanbul, Turkey! It's a series of photos about two of the greatest temples in Istanbul. Agia Sophia and Blue Mosque. I try to present the religious aspect of Istanbul which is the crossroad of two great religions. I think that this is the strongest aspect of this great city.
