And with the earth beneath my feet
I come from Ireland, a place that I love very well, but I've always been one who's longed to know what's beyond the borders of where we began. I've always had a nomadic side to my nature due to my upbringing which saw me spend some of my childhood in Malta and London. My parents always loved the taste of somewhere knew, and I grew to love it too, for all the things I learned, and the people I met along the way.
As I've grown older it's become something of a running joke that I'll hare off to see a new spot at a moment's notice, a notion that took me to a party in the mountains of Bavaria aged seventeen, and found me interning at a costume house in Toronto for three months, after a mere twenty minutes interview.
With a Drama & Film degree I've always had an eye for the small details in the bigger picture. For the theatre of world, and all the spaces within it. I live in London now, a place I love, as its a vibrant, multi-cultural city, but I am never far from looking out the window, wondering where my feet and heart could take me next. The truth is that there's much of the earth that I long to see, but life in it's way hasn't allowed it. So I here I am, a hopeful explorer, finding ways to reach those places that haven't met me yet.
