Meeting my rescuer

Last summer I had my first official holiday, well prepared and planned long time in advance, after a period of 8 years of non-holiday, just short escapes inside country for fresh air.
Although I faced many obstacles, being forced to adapt the initial plan in the last minute, I must admit that the two weeks spent in England were absolutely fantastic for my personality and mood. The friends that hosted me were away in my first week there, so managing alone in new places - Kendal, in the Lake District and then in Stratford on Avon where I went to see two performances at the Royal Shakespeare Company -, represented a big achievement for my travel skills and not only.
I love nature. And I love theatre and music. The first spots I am interested in when getting to know a new place are the parks or green spaces and the cultural houses/performing places and musical pubs. I am very much into arts and I am happy to meet new cultures and traditions.
One night, after attending a Beatles covers concert in a rock pub, I was walking home on streets, alone in the rain, feeling a bit down for being alone but satisfied after the concert, although I had the feeling I acted a bit weird for the people in the pub by dancing and singing along with the band (people in Kendal seem to have other ways to express their pleasure of listening to some good music, at least different from me). I was walking home when a ginger-haired blue-eyed tall man stopped me and asked me: "Can you sing?". "Of course I can!". He invited me in a karaoke bar, the one he came out from and Introduced me to his friend, a girl in love with him. But for him she was just a friend... It was a crazy night, I must have had at least 10 songs... Lovely! The ginger boy, my new scottish friend, was impressed by my voice, by me, he confessed he had noticed me from the concert but he was too shy to start a conversation with me. Good he did it in front of the Karaoke bar, on Street! That's how a true and strong friendship has begun. We kept on communicating via letters, social media, phone... He even visited me in Bucharest one month ago. Here he must have spent the best 10 days of his life, as he have told me. Now...We are in love. He is sure I am the girl of his dreams, I strongly believe he is my rescuer. His job is to rescue people having car crashes or mountain accidents, in the Lake District such sad events happen quite often. But in my case, he rescued me from lonelines, sadness. And... I maybe rescued him too!
