I guess I don't want to win above everything, my first hope is that the person watching the video will want to travel and explore the world. I would also like to see the other participants` videos because I would be interested to see other visions of the subject. During my life I have had the chance to travel quite a bit, I have been to China, Cameroon, Greece, Italy and Spain. After all my trips I have come back home changed, and for me that is what travelling is about. I believe that to travel means to go out of our way, to meet new people, learn new languages and see new cultures. Travel is one of my priorities. During this year I want to earn enough to go back to China in order to finish learning Mandarin, which I have been studying for 5 years. Once I can speak fluent Chinese, my idea is to travel the world, visit every country one by one with the aim of creating a library of voices of the world - and then to create a long film presenting every culture of the world. For me, winning your competition would be a dream because it would allow me to believe that not only is my lifetime project potentially possible but also that my self-trained cameraman/editor/producer skills appeal to others.
