My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have had a passion for travel and photography since I was very young. Travel to me is an experience and I my passion is to put those experiences into a picture for the world to see.

I have been working at a travel agency for 7 years now and been very lucky to travel to some amazing places around the world, however I am looking to turn my hobby of photography into a career and combine it with my passion for travel.

To me photography tells a story and one picture can tell 1000 words.

The 5 photos I have chosen were taken on a trip last year to Tibet where there is a deep history. I really do love these photos but I want to learn how to better my photography and turn what are good photos, into great photos for people to enjoy.

To me, this scholarship would be an experience of a lifetime and a great stepping stone to learn how the professionals do it and what I have to do to turn my passion into a career.
