A man and a woman, very much in love and in life together, spontaneously stand up in a cafe and begin dancing in the back corner, slowly. They seem to fit with one another like two notes of music, hanging in the air and lilting together.

This photograph makes me feel as though I am listening to a song - there is so much movement and boundless energy in the body of the boy as he leap, carefree and strong, into the river running through Istanbul. This photograph fills me with a quiet joy. It makes me think of youth, where he is central to the shot and seems oblivious to the people that surround him. I feel the wind flying by my body as I imagine what that jump would feel like.

A man and a woman stand, close to one another. This photograph is evocative to me in that I see only a frame of the wider picture, and I am intrigued at what the rest of their body language might be; what they might be thinking; what conversation these two individuals are having at this particular moment.
