This man sits in a crowded, communal square which is vibrating with noise and activity. He appears to be isolated, and the perfect picture of contemplation. This image causes me to beg for more information about what he is thinking about.

The women in this photo is compelling, and as an image this individual leaves open so much room for interpretation. She appears to be feeling sorrow or exhaustion. I love how we see how overwhelmed she is in her situation, while nature continues around her unabated.

This photograph makes me feel as though I am listening to a song - there is so much movement and boundless energy in the body of the boy as he leap, carefree and strong, into the river running through Istanbul. This photograph fills me with a quiet joy. It makes me think of youth, where he is central to the shot and seems oblivious to the people that surround him. I feel the wind flying by my body as I imagine what that jump would feel like.
