Sand between your toes

Bondi and Beyond

Australia | Tuesday, July 2, 2013 | 5 photos

My love affair with photography began with my father's purchase of a zoom lens. One look through the viewfinder, being amazed by the telescopic ability of the lens, and I was hooked. Fast forward 25 years, and it's intensified. From photographing off road racing in the NT, to trying not to fall off my snowboard with camera on my back, my passion for chasing a unique shot has taken me to some interesting places, and compromising positions. My dream is to travel the world, taking photos for a living, and to one day see someone stop and admire my work.
"Never stop shooting." A piece of advice given to me by a good friend. And my secret as to why I'd be ideal for this assignment. While others are having breakfast, I keep shooting. When the morning colour is gone, I switch to B&W. I am adaptable, flexible, and push the boundaries to get that one shot. I am also patient, forward thinking and relish the challenge that this journey would provide.
Photography is an art, you never stop learning, and the opportunity to work with a professional photographer, to learn from them, and more importantly support them in their own adventures would be a surreal and unforgettable experience.
