My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Every since I was a very young girl I used to watch and read the National Geographic documentaries and magazines, among others, which made develop a taste for the exploration of this, which is our planet.
Earth is an amazing and complex gathering of different features, from the wild life to human constructions and society, from biology to history. I have a huge love for all this features, and traveling and exploring it, whether it is a city or a National Park with wildlife. The human culture but also the animal diversity offered by our planet, give us an immensity for adventure one can only dream to get to know, but that is my dream.
Inhospitable and unknown lands are very few, but Greenland is one example. I always had a curiosity towards this land which is called green, but it often appears to be white on most pictures.
This experience can be a once in a lifetime allowing me to fullfill my childhood fantasy of being a report for National Geographic, attached to the photography learning opportunity! I really hope I get chosen, but nevertheless my will to explore the earth will remain.
