My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Worldwide | Thursday, November 3, 2011 | 5 photos

Photographing in my life had turn into a deep kind of meditation, if I can call it like that, as it’s something that brings me right to the present, makes me alert and just stops the time, I forget there was a past and there might be a future. I just can concentrate in the present; I find it is the only way to take a photo. Paradoxically we can only capture the present in a photo, and it is the only way we have to look the past in the future with fidelity.
There are as many points of views as humans in this world, and each one with a lens can capture the essence of their views. It is the pacific way to show others what I think or feel, it is the pacific way to explain without discussion; what you captured was a reality in your own world in that moment. It is here when we all are right, if we could understand that each of us in our ordinary life has a lens to view, and understand that others would look at the same thing maybe different would be the stop of many differences. This can show off that we all are right, and that we all can see reality with our own perception.
The main reason I would like to win is because I want to contribute showing people the world thru my eyes.
I’m 24 years old, and showing my points to others was very difficult since I love to see it all from different sides and I try to capture all, the essences of everything, this I try to do with photos.
These photos particularly try to capture what is normally "hidden" to our eyes, things are always there but are not always seen.
