My name is Samanta Aretino. I am 37 years old and have enormous desires to become one day a professional photographer.
I consider this is a unique opportunity in my learning, and in case I’d be chosen I would get profit at maximum of the experience. I would like to learn how to tell singular stories through photography. I really would like to tell untold stories, realities from forgotten people, especially women. I think women around the world have lots of rights to achieve yet, in the 21th Century…
In every aspect of life, I am an avid pupil, always experimenting, learning, re-learning y beginning again.
Photography has become mi passion, it gave a new way of looking at the world, it though me to be patient, to wait for the moment, to be wrong and revert it, to retry, to not being comfortable, to look for another point of view.
I wouldn’t know exactly why discard the other good applicants, but I truly know that for me it would be an accomplished dream, a really important step to be closer to what I like more, photography.
It’s said that the dreams always walk forward us, if we give a step; they give another step forward, to keep us always walking.
I am a dream walker…
