Shitscared and headfirst into Chaos

Bread, Bread, Bread, Cheese, Cheese, Cheese, Pork, Pork, Pork.

The three repetitious things of these country are finally getting to me. As well as some of the fluctuating price, price, prices. I have eaten so much pork and bread in this country i feel like a flatulant cow, all i can see is grass, and just keeps making me fart. Hahahahaha, i'm sure not everyone wants to know this, but be warned if you plan to come to Austria you will eat pork, you may try to get around it, but at some point dreaded Schwiene will pass your lips.

Weather has been great these last couple of days, and damn i am buggered. Of course staying in staying in a packed camping ground full of holidaying krauts isn't condusive (i can't spell) to sleep. Last few days i have trekked up mountains, rode bikes, and walked round lakes. Considering i have been a fat bastard most of my life, i imagine this is somewhat akin to the self flagellation practised by a lot of Catholic priests. My mind is willing, but the flesh is not so able lol. Nah thats just me whining. It has been great, the walk up the mountain took about 6 hrs and was damn steep in some parts, the only problem was we just came short of the 2000+ metre summit due to the fact that we started the walk to late in the day. Most people seem to go the Schmittenhohebahn route (cable car), but us being the psychotic people we are, tackled it head on, from the base of the town walking straight up. Beautiful and easy walk if you are fit, if you are not be warned, the switchbacks up the mountain are relentless and will have you beggin for mercy. In fact, the lady that runs the pension we were staying at at the time suggested we go up the mountain. When we told her that we had already walked up... and down, she blanched and gave a nervous chuckle. "Ohhhh... that sounds... strenuous." or some words to that effect.

So not content with that we took it easy the next day and trekked round the lake about 12+ k's. Flat ground so pretty easy, for some reason we must have considered that a day of rest, because the next day we faced off a bike ride to Kaprun and Kesselfalls (i think thats right). Yeah, good ride, very scenic (LONGEST BLOODY DISTANCE I HAVE RIDDEN FOR AGES!!!!!). I reckon it clocked in pretty high probably about 50+ k's (for some people this isn't much, fair enough, but i rarely ride).... not really sure, but thank god the seat of my bike wasn't a chinese torture device and my arse is still intact. I watched people doing half the ride on racers and it made me wince.

Apologies for the uploaded video. It is shit. Well not shit, but the quality sucks arse, Vimeo reconverted to retard view and made everything look like it was photographed through a fog of Vaseline with Robert Smith singing under water. Yeah shit!!!!

Anyway we're off to Klagenfurt in a couple of days then Ljubljana (Slovenia), then back to Vienna and Budapest. Should be interesting. Will update more tommorow.

He He He.

Everything for breakfast is cold meat (ham) and bread bread bread!!!! Have you had some lieberwurst spread yet? That is the flatulence engine to beat all engines!

Klagenfurt is nice, and nearby Velden is even nicer with lake and swimming, etc.

Share a 'Twinni' ice block from the local BILLA!!! cheers!
