My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am socially inquisitive, visually excitable, intellectually curious and acutely aware of everything around me. Sufferer of chronic wanderlust, I'm a 31 year old Londoner that likes to challenge and be challenged. Soaking up the ins and outs; the whys and hows of the glocal world is what drives and excites me. I desire to understand the world, its complexity, its beauty, its mystery and its rich diversity. Photography is a beautiful way of capturing all this, any time, any place, speaking a universal language that knows no boundaries; transcending all cultures, people and places.
My goal? Visual storyteller making real art that secretly wishes to move the world. Having Jason as a mentor would set me on track to get there. I'd learn about the creative process whilst building my folio in a safe environment. I'd address improving my technical competence and story telling abilities; honing my style and learning about objectivity in viewing my work. Most of all he would help me build a solid foundation. All this while getting to hear tales of his many adventures around the globe.
The bottom line is that I want to be the best that I can be. This scholarship would help me to do that.
