Way Of Life

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

India | Friday, July 5, 2013 | 4 photos

At the age of 8 I picked up my father’s point and shoot camera. It was the first time for me when I clicked and it clicked. I’d joined a photography workshop at my school and learnt few tricks on shooting and developing from a negative. Though the classes didn’t last for long and the photography went on a side track for a while. I got busy fulfilling the dreams of my folks and was pushed to the regular academics. This is by the way “a way of life” in India. Post my graduation I started working and searching for something that could give a piece of mind and satisfaction. However, couldn’t find it till the time I started travelling and clicking. It again clicked. I borrowed cameras from friends before I went off to any trip of mine to shoot. Though I never had anyone to teach me, I just followed my sense and intuition and RnD on the cameras to learn. Today at the age of 33yrs, I know that I’ve found the way to achieve what I want in life. Its, to know more and make others see what I see or feel when I move. I see the world in a different way and that’s “my way of life”.
