All in a lifetime's work.

New glasses, language partners, yoga class.. oh my!

Surprisingly enough, a lot has transpired within the last few days.

I recently got new glasses, as apparently I haven´t been eating as much spinach as popeye. I´m pretty stoked about my new frames, and of course, seeing a bit better! I got one to wear in a more professional setting, like work, that´s black with a lighter blue inside and another pair that´s fun for when I want to be less serious that´s a wine red color.

I also got a new language partner for Chinese. I got several people, actually. One is a law student, the other a mechanical engineer student, and then a family whose father is a mechanical engineer prof. I´ll be starting to meet with them within the next week and am quite excited about it! They´re anxious to improve their English, and me my Chinese, so we´re going to spend half of our time in each target languge, working on whatever areas/vocabulary sets we each need to improve.

I also realized I had time to join a yoga class. I went to it for the first time last week and am addicted. Afterwards, I felt so physically pushed that it was as if I had run two hours and worked the torso/arms at the same time. I learned I had muscles I never knew I had! Jajaja, so, needless to say, I will definitely be going back again.

>I´m looking for some new recipes. Particularly healthy, quick, and even vegetarian recipes. They can be a combination of all three criteria or just one - makes no difference! So if anything comes to mind, feel free to pass it my way :0) I generally cook a lot of Mexican, stir fries, steamed veggies, rice, chicken, etc meals but am absolutely looking to add to my collection of "general use".

I look forward to hearing how you all have been doing!
