I'm 21 and have been incredibly passionate about photography for around 5 years and receiving this scholarship would be somewhat of a dream come true.

I've been sick for 8 years with a chronic illness; I discovered photography was something I could do without too much exertion, and something that I was actually good at. Since then, my love for it has grown and I've really found my calling in macro photography in particular.

I feel completely at home behind my camera, it's the only time I really feel confident in my abilities. I know this is what I want to do with my life.
