Hello everyone!
This is my first travel post ever in my life, so sorry if it sucks a little. Anyway, after 24 travel hours, I finally arrived in San Francisco. And already had my first Bad News of the travel: I'm in San Francisco, but my baggage decided to stay a while in London to enjoy the fresh air of the airport. British Airways lost it during the first connection, so I couldn't find it when I got into the US. Now they should bring it to my hostel in a few time, but I'm still a bit afraid of not having my stuff with me.
You know, we are just talking about my clothes, the tent (we'll sleep in tent for a few night), all the camping stuff, and most of all the ingredients for making a good Pizza :D
ANYWAY... let's write down plans, to forget problems for a while!
I'll spend some days in San Francisco, until sunday when I will meet my not-a-girlfriend and start a road trip. Plans are to spend a couple of nights in Big Sur, go down to LA, then going to Mojave desert, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Page (Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe's Bend), Las Vegas, Death Valley, and finally Yosemite.
The hostel I found (Pacific Tradewinds) looks great, it's in a great position, and already had the occasion to practice a little my listening capabilities - I'm not used to listen english speaking people, so it takes a while for me to understand people...
I'll try to keep this journal updated as much as the travel allows me... maybe it could be a good way to spend the time while Valentina is driving!
