Sempu, The Journey of Life

At first, I always thinking that I am the only main actor in life. I don’t need anyone in my life because I knew that I'm strong enough to face everything in this world. Until i travelled in Sempu island. Sempu is a small island located in south of Java island, Indonesia.
Travelling in Sempu Island just like a journey of life, we don’t know what will we faced, we don’t know what lies ahead of us. Maybe a puddle with mud as high as calves, maybe twig of a tree that make us difficult to walk or fallen tree that make us confused will pass it by crawls on the ground or up the tree then jump. We dont know when we will get to the destination.
Here I understand the meaning of the proverb ‘don’t judge book by its cover’. Who know that branch that we hold for balancing was full of mud? No one knows that the mud that we think superficial actually as high as your calves. What if our fellow travelers suddenly leave us in the middle of the trip? What if there's a snake on the tree where we rely on?When you fall, you have to get up yourself then pursue your friends in the front, unless you want to be alone in the middle of the forest.
It’s like life. We don’t know what we will encounter and have no idea when we will arrive. Shouldn’t be too believe with what we see and don’t rely on others. But it’s not that bad because when you really need help, there is always help.
There is an unknown hand help when we are looking for a grip. There are those who gives water when it begins to dehydration and gives bread when you hungry while you run out of food. Help comes from anyone eventhough we haven’t known each other.
The trip demonstrated to me that in spite of you are the main actor in life, you still need the others to coloring your life and help you when you need it.
